Competition Enforcers and Academics Summit 2019

On 1-2 August 2019, the inaugural Competition Enforcers and Academics Summit (Summit) was co-organised by the Competition Commission and the Centre for Competition Policy and Regulation of Lingnan University. The Summit aims to foster the sharing of ideas and experience in relation to competition issues, as well as to discuss ways and areas in which academic institutions and competition law enforcement agencies can strengthen partnership and collaboration.

The Summit was closed-door and attended by 45 distinguished academics and enforcers from 13 jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. Academics and enforcers shared success stories of past partnerships and collaboration projects, experiences from different stages of agency development and the latest academic research findings.
