“Post to Compete” Social Media Advocacy Challenge 2021
Building on the success of the inaugural “Post to Compete” Social Media Advocacy Challenge (Challenge) in 2018, the Competition Commission (Commission) launched the second edition of the Challenge in November 2020, inviting all tertiary students to formulate social media campaigns in teams to promote the Competition Ordinance and how it safeguards a level-playing field for the benefits of businesses and consumers.

Over 180 teams registered to take part in the Challenge, and they were invited to attend an online training workshop in January 2021 where they learnt the key concepts of the Competition Ordinance, as well as tips on running successful social media campaigns shared by seasoned social media strategist Mr Law Wing-chung, online marketing guru Mr. Wesley Ng and content creation expert Pomato (小薯茄).
Shortlisted teams were invited to enter the final round under the guidance of Mr Law Wing-chung, business mentors and the Commission. The finalists executed their social media campaigns and battled online from 7 to 15 April 2021. See Facebook and Instagram Pages (content in Cantonese only).
